About Usمن نحن
CalculatorLA.com is a free, independent collection of calculators for health, mathematics, and everyday planning. It was built around a simple idea: a calculator page should load in an instant, work equally well on a phone or a laptop, run just as naturally in Arabic as in English, and never ask you to sign up or hand over personal data before giving you an answer.
Why this site exists
Most calculator websites available today were built years ago, are heavy with advertising, and treat Arabic as an afterthought — a machine-translated layer bolted onto an English-first design. CalculatorLA.com was built the opposite way: every page, every label, and every explanation was written and laid out for both languages from the start, including a genuine right-to-left interface in Arabic rather than mirrored English text.
What you'll find here
The site currently offers thirteen calculators, organized into three groups:
- Fitness & Health — BMI Calculator, Calorie Calculator, Body Fat Calculator, BMR Calculator, Ideal Weight Calculator, and a combined Pregnancy & Period Calculator.
- Math — a full Scientific Calculator, a three-mode Percentage Calculator, and a Random Number Generator.
- Everyday planning — an Age Calculator, a Date Calculator (difference, add/subtract, and live countdown), a Time Calculator, and an Hours Calculator for work hours and pay.
Every calculator page also includes a written explanation of the formula it uses — the Mifflin-St Jeor equation for BMR and calories, the U.S. Navy circumference method for body fat, Naegele's rule for due dates, and so on — so the result isn't just a number, it's a number you can understand and check.
How the calculators work
Every calculation on this site runs entirely inside your own browser using JavaScript. There is no server-side processing of the numbers you type, no account system, and no calculator input is ever transmitted or stored anywhere. You can read more about this in our Privacy Policy.
Who's behind it
CalculatorLA.com is built and maintained independently, not by a large company. That means updates are driven directly by user feedback rather than a corporate roadmap — if a calculator is missing a feature or a formula needs a second look, a message through the Contact page genuinely reaches the person who can fix it.
A note on accuracy
Every formula used on this site is drawn from established, published sources rather than approximated, and each calculator page explains exactly which method it uses and why. That said, none of these tools replace professional medical, nutritional, or financial advice — see our Terms of Service for details.
